DISCLAIMER
WALKING: Please note, the full production of Wicked Literature: A Halloween Theatre Festival is a walking production. This means that you will need to physically move and walk through doorways and along corridors, gardens, steps, and slight hillsides in order to be able to attend this production.
DISTANCE: All patrons must be prepared to walk at least 1,000 steps over the course of the evening including some stairs, in order to see all parts of this performance. Unfortunately, not all parts of the production are wheelchair accessible.
SITTING AND STANDING: There will be chairs and seating locations throughout most of the performance, but patrons must also be prepared to stand for at least 10 minutes at a time.
COLD: This production takes place at night in a Mausoleum and in a cemetery in October – it will be cold. Please be prepared for outdoor weather conditions and dress accordingly. Bring an umbrella if rain is forecast.
SHOES: You will be walking at least 1,000 steps including some stairs – be sure to wear comfortable, soft-soled shoes. NO HIGH-HEELS PLEASE.
CHILDEREN: We do not recommend bringing children under the age of 13 to this production. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted.
DARKNESS AND FLASHLIGHTS: All performances will take place at night and, to ensure an appropriate Halloween atmosphere, many of the locations that you will visit will be atmospherically dark. Safety is incredibly important to us, and you will never be asked to move when it is too dark to do so. All walkways will be equipped with lights and guides. All stairwells will be equipped with handrails. We ask that you bring your own flashlight, although some will be available at the site. They are necessary for certain parts of the show.
SCARY: This production is meant to be scary! It’s Halloween, people! Surprises will happen but, we promise, nothing (and no one) will eat or harm you in any sort of real sense. If you do not enjoy heightened situations, intense dramatic tension, or anything having to do with ghost stories, this may not be the production for you.
