Rachel Manheimer :: Production Stage Manager
Rachel earned her degree in Stage Management at The California Institute of The Arts and has 15 years of Stage Management experience. Having managed everything from original musicals to 15-show festivals, some of Rachel's favorite credits include Tim Crouch's An Oak Tree, Wicked Literature (at Greystone Mansion in 2009), The Compleat Works of Wm. Skspr, (Abridged), Coriolanus, The Tempest, and As You Like It. Rachel also recently directed The Miracle Worker for The High Street Arts Center, where she also directed an award-winning production of The Fantasticks. Tasha Gill :: House Manager
Tasha is excited to join the cast and crew in the 2nd Annual Wicked Lit Theatre Festival and would especially like to thank Paul Millet for another great opportunity. Her past experience includes working as an Assistant to the Director, for Theatre 40, in “Southern Comforts”, Assistant Stage Manager, for Interact Theatre Company, in Thornton Wilder's, "The Matchmaker" as well as a sound/lightboard operators for Talley's Folly (Indiana University -Bloomington, IN) and Mill on the Floss (Pima Community College-Tucson, AZ). Tasha also extends a warm congratulations and a “wicked” kudos to the cast and crew.
Jorge Aranda :: Running Crew
Jorge is both a father and self-employed. Born at a very young age in Los Angeles, Jorge is now a student at Long Beach City College ~ majoring in Music Production. For the past year he has worked as a Production/Editing Assistant and Camera Operator. Jorge was involved with TV shows such as The Hollywood Punch Report and LA Exclusive TV. He is the founder of entrepreneurial ventures in Entertainment/Production/Apparel. Favorite Quote: "My Only Problem is that I’m to damn Kind," Guru.
Michael Gomez Burton :: Running Crew
Michael completed his undergraduate studies at California State University Long Beach–with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree 2009. Working in film & theatrical production became a plausible career direction for employment after PA work for Cheech Marin’s documentary The Chicano Collection (2006). Since then he's done Production Design for You’ve Got A Pretty Smile music video (2007); Its All About My Business PTVN (2010); Scenic Artist on I Kissed a Vampire (2009); The Ghastly Love of Johnny X (2010); pre/post-production Set Building activities at Theatre West for Ruthie Shapiro & Waiting For Lefty (2010).
Daniel Hobbs :: Running Crew
Daniel Hobbs is a theatre designer and technician originally from Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of North Alabama magna cum laude with a BA in theatre, and recently moved to LA where he has worked with several theatre companies in a variety of positions.
Brittany Morrison :: Running Crew
Brittany Morrison is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in Philosophy, happily relocated to Los Angeles. Some of her favorite work at UCI included The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Assistant Director), Columbinus (AD), and Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train (Stage Manager). In Los Angeles: This Lime Tree Bower (Odyssey Theatre Enesmble), A Number (SM, OTE), Life on the Offbeat (The Unusual Suspects). Abigail Uselding :: Running Crew
Abigail Uselding was born and raised in Evanston, IL. She graduated in 2008 from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. Since leaving Lawrence, she has been focused on writing poetry and on seeking out new life experiences to express within her writing. She very recently relocated to Los Angeles in the hopes of encountering these new experiences. She has always loved literature, including that of Poe, Lovecraft and Dickens, and is excited to be a part of the Wicked Lit crew and see their words come to life!
