Christine Cover Ferro :: Costume Designer
Christine Cover Ferro is forever grateful to Jeff and Paul for bringing her on board to this amazing project. She is a frequent collaborator with local theatre companies Theatre 40 and Vox Humana, and Moorpark's High Street Arts Center, as well as the annual AIDS Healthcare Foundation fundraiser, HOT IN HOLLYWOOD. Her film credits include costume design for the feature filmYard Sale and InsideFilms' featurette In A Different Key and the upcoming Low Groundstrilogy. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she worked in theatre and film in Miami, the Twin Cities, Boston and New York, including an internship with the costume department for NBC's Law and Order. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from Brandeis University.
David B. Marling :: Sound Designer
David B. Marling has added his sound character in many independent films, and live productions around the L.A. area, Off Broadway in New York, and around the world to Australia and even Israel, over the past 19 Years. He won awards for the haunting sounds in the 1999 L.A. Weekly Best Production Design Award winnerTainted Blood. The powerful production of Yellowman at the Fountain Theater received Best Production from NAACP and Garland Awards. Dave received an Ovation Award for the breathtaking Napoli Milionaria at the Road Theatre Company. He received his 2nd Robby Award and 2nd Ovation Award for the mysterious The Woman in Black. Dave recently received a Best Sound Design Award from the NAACP for the dynamic Gem of the Ocean. Ellen Monocroussos :: Lighting Designer
Ellen has designed over four hundred productions nationally. She is thrilled to be working with Director Jeff Rack again, with whom she designed Mystery Playsand Pen at Theatre 40 and Twilight Zone at Theatre West. Other shows she has designed in the Los Angeles area include Light up the Sky at Open Fist Theatre Company, Hote C'est L''amour at Blank Theatre Company, The Exonerated at The Actors’ Gang, Grendel with Circle X and Mother Courage and her Children at Antaeus Theatre Company. She was the Assistant Lighting Designer on the first production at the newly re-opened Mark Taper Forum, House of Blue Leaves. She also assisted on Barbara Cook in Mostly Sondheim at the Ahmanson Theatre. She has received an LA Weekly Production Design Award and has been nominated for an Ovation Award, NAACP Theatre Award, LA Weekly Musical of the Year Award and Lester Horton Dance Award.
Julie Pound :: Makeup Artist/Designer
Julie is a freelance makeup artist with over 5 years experience in theatre and film. Her theatre experience began as an actor and stage manager, however, since graduating from makeup school, she has worked exclusively backstage designing makeup for such shows as Incorruptible (Theatre 40), Prisoner of Second Avenue, Victor, The Fantastiks (High Street Arts Center, Moorpark), The Crucible (Camarillo Community Theatre), The Boys Next Doors (Santa Paul Theatre Center), and The King & I (The Canyon Club, Agoura Hills). She wants to thank Paul for inviting her to be a part of this production.
Byron Quiros :: Choreographer/Movement ~ The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Native Californian of Costa Rican decent, Byron Quiros trained in theatre and dance at the University of California, Irvine and performed extensively under Donald McKayle, Israel "El" Gabriel, Janice Plastino, Donald Bradburn, Robert Cohen, and the late Bernard Johnson. He was discovered in the Mr. Latin of California Competition which led him to choreograph and dance for BMG Records, Fiesta Broadway, Puerto Rican Festival, Miss Pana-merican Internacional, and two national commercial spots for Sears Roebuck as the lead dancer and model. Since, he's worked with Craig David, Disney, Grammy Winner Usher Raymond, Mariana Seone and toured with Latin Grammy Nominee Ana Barbara. Byron continued his studies in drama by studying Meisner under John Ruskin (apprentice to Sandy Meisner in New York). He guest starred on JAG, booked several national commercials and honed his craft on stage which he believes is the true stepping ground for an actor. His theatre credits include Dawgs, The Bullfight, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Living Out, and Short Eyes for which his portrayal of Paco, a gay Puerto Rican prisoner, earned him a Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Honorable Mention and Spoon River Anthology for which he won a LADCC Best Actor Award. Byron starred in the Tony Award Winning play, Take Me Out for the Geffen Playhouse with Jeremy Sisto, Terrell Tilford, Jeffrey Nordling, and Carmen Argenziano, directed by Randall Arney. Byron's film credits include Set It Off, The Legacy, King Rikki, Hard Pill, Exit Interview and Coronado with Kristin Dattilo, Clayton Rohner, and John Rhys-Davies. His latest film project, SALT, is making its way into the film circuit. Recent television credits include Guest Stars on CSI: Miami and Medium, both opposite its stars, David Caruso and Patricia Arquette. Byron Quiros continues to hone his craft by working as an invited guest for The Actors Studio in Los Angeles.
Michael Wilkins :: Composer for The Fall of the House of Usher
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Azusa Pacific University and is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Conducting. His musical direction credits include: Guys and Dolls, Godspell, Footloose, Anything Goes and Fiddler on the Roof. He has also worked on numerous shows as a rehearsal accompanist and keyboard player. His next project will be working as the musical director for the Chance Theatre's production of Little Women: The Musical.
