DESIGNERS FOR A GHOST STORY
Christine Cover Ferro :: Costume Designer
Christine previously worked with Unbound Productions on the last two prodcutions of Wicked Lit. She has also collaborated with Los Angeles' X Repertory Theatre, Theatre 40 and Vox Humana Theatre Company, Moorpark's High Street Arts Center, and the annual AIDS Healthcare Foundation fundraiser, Hot in Hollywood, and she just served as the assistant costume designer on the Getty Villa production of Elektra. Her film credits include costume design for the feature film Yard Sale and InsideFilms' featurette In a Different Key and the upcoming Low Grounds trilogy. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she worked in theatre and film in Miami, the Twin Cities, Boston and New York, including an internship with the costume department for NBC's Law and Order. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester College and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from Brandeis University.
Bill Froggatt :: Sound Designer
Bill has sound designed plays at theatres in Los Angeles in recent years. Prior to that, he was co-owner of a multi-media production company that specialized in corporate presentations. In addition to the creative work of sound design and production, he is also available to run sound at theatrical shows. Bill brings a reliable enthusiasm to every show he work. His goals are to deliver what the director wants to achieve audibly and to inspire and support the actors in their performances. Bill has designed numerous productions for shows at A Noise Within, Indian Wells Theater, Kirk Douglas Theatre, Lewis Family Playhouse, Odyssey Theatre, Theatre 40, and West Coast Jewish Theatre.
Ellen Monocroussos :: Lighting Designer
Ellen is thrilled to be returning Wicked Lit. She has worked with Director Jeff Rack on “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” and “Mystery Plays” at Theatre 40 and “Twilight Zone” at Theatre West. Other shows she has designed in the Los Angeles area include “Light Up the Sky” at Open Fist Theatre Company, “Hotel C’est L’amour” at Blank Theatre Company, “The Exonerated” at The Actors’ Gang, “Grendel” with Circle X and “Mother Courage and Her Children” at Antaeus Theatre Company. She was the Assistant Lighting Designer for the Mark Taper Forum’s “House of Blue Leaves”. She also assisted on “Barbara Cook in Mostly Sondheim” at the Ahmanson Theatre. She has received an LA Weekly Production Design Award and Stage Screen Award and has been nominated for an Ovation Award, NAACP Theatre Award, LA Weekly Musical of the Year Award and Lester Horton Dance Award.
Julie Pound :: Makeup Artist
Julie is a freelance makeup artist with almost 10 years experience in theatre and film. Her theatre experiences began as an actor and stage manager; however, since finishing makeup school, she has worked exclusively behind the scenes as an artist, designer and consultant. Theatre credits include Tea At Five, Driving Miss Daisy, Southern Comforts, Wicked Literature 2009 & 2010, Incorruptible, Prisoner of Second Avenue, Victor, The Fantastiks, and The Crucible. Julie is excited to be working with her WickedLit friends again, and wants to thank Paul for including her in the fun.
